A savvy executive chef, a restaurateur, and a sommelier have brought a hot new restaurant and wine bar to Avon.
At Vin48, enticing wines and food create a daily event, be it a relaxed evening on couches upstairs, an afternoon outdoors on the large patio, or a social evening at the expansive bar. At the bar, consider the imposing Enomatic, an Italian wine preservation system that preserves 30 wines served in full or half-glasses.
There’s an 85-seat dining room, exhibition kitchen, and a private room for winemaker dinners. Daily specials at up to 48 percent off feature four different wines to educate the palate. Themed wine flights are a delicious way to compare and choose favorites.
The menu’s focus is on Rustic American offerings, using local produce as available and hormone-free meats.
Charles Hays, Collin Baugh, and Greg Eynon developed the concept for Vin48 while working together in Beaver Creek.
