Vail Symposium Combats Summer Mind-Mush
Revving up the local cultural mojo for over 35 years now, the Vail Symposium this summer once again presents a veritable feast of ideas, activities, and newsmakers.
The Active Minds program offers expert voices mixing it up with controversial topics like China’s Summer Olympics in the wake of the Tibet crackdown, the precarious situation in Lebanon, and our nation’s often challenging relationship with Mexico.
The summer Food and Film series in August and September once again merges two of Vail residents’ favorite pastimes.
An historic walking tour of Camp Hale led by WWII veterans who trained there is another season highlight. Also stay tuned for some big names to come to town and stir the intellectual pot for the Hot Topics series.
