Brightwater Club’s Back 9 Debuts

The Brightwater Club’s Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed 18-hole championship course celebrates the opening of its back nine this summer. The front nine debuted during the summer of 2007 to great acclaim, as the back nine is certain to receive.

The course, which boasts great golf in a beautiful setting, soothingly weaves through Brightwater’s residential areas and open space along one mile of frontage on scenic Gypsum Creek.

Abundant water, and a member’s ability to enjoy it year-round, is a focus of this new community 35 miles west of Vail. Located just off the Interstate-70 corridor, yet tucked up against the mountains at the end of lush Gypsum Creek Valley, Brightwater Club has been designed for what is described as “The New Streamside Generation.” Not only is the presence of water prevalent on the golf course and neighborhoods, it is central to many activities the Club offers, such as canoeing, fly-fishing, swimming, kayaking, ice hockey and ice skating.

Membership in the Brightwater Club is included in the purchase of a home or homesite (membership The Mountain Club at Beaver Creek also is included). The Club offers many activities, amenities and services designed to appeal to all members of the family, including numerous amenities at a planned lakeside village.
