Cafe de Luna Extends Grand Opening Celebration through Cinco de Mayo

Debbie Marquez and the folks at Cafe de Luna had so much fun last week during their Grand Opening celebration that they are extending the festivities through this week as well. The week-long celebration will include daily food and beer specials with special prize giveaways. And true to the mission of the new restaurant and her values practices, Debbie is asking the public to bring a food item for the Vail Salvation Army Food Pantry. As Debbie explains, “I have always been a fan of the work done for locals down on their luck by the Salvation Army. Manic Training Opens New Studio in Edwards, Colorado

Edwards, Colo. —Manic Training has come to the Vail valley. Endurance athlete, Andy Picking has brought the popular training method to the area and opened up a new facility in Edwards in the Northstar Center building. This uncomplicated, but proven training regime, was originally conceptualized by Graham “Bushy” Muir, a career sports coach, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Burnt out with the corporate gym culture, and out of the monotony of the typical training programs being produced, Muir started to develop Manic Training. What resulted was a program both equal parts “old school strong man” meets new aged training philosophies.
