Free Family Fun Fair takes place this Saturday in Eagle

NRC365 Presents the Vail Valley Medical Center Free Family Fun Fair for the fifth year running.

January 12, 2012: Twice a year for the past 4 years NRC365 and WECMRD have produced an event that brings smiles to the faces of children all over this valley. Full of activities, entertainment, food and just plain fun, The Vail Valley Medical Center Free Family Fun Fair gives parents a chance to get their kids out of the house, release some energy and enjoy a day filled with action. Parents seem to have their share of fun too, not to mention it is all for FREE!

NRC365 which includes some of your most favorite radio stations SkiCountry, JACK, The Lift, KNFO and La Nueva Mix along with The Vail Valley Medical Center will put on the 5th annual winter Vail Valley Medical Center Free Family Fun Fair on Saturday, Feb. 11th at the Eagle River Center from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, with free on-site parking.

The event features a quad bungee trampoline, several bouncy castles, a gigantic slide, a mechanical bull and a cool air and space exhibit with a live astronaut who’ll take pictures with the kids. There will be face painting, costume characters, face painting, balloon animals, fire trucks and a full line up of entertainment.

Monica Mattingly Events and Promotions director at NRC365 says “I love doing this event. It’s so great to see the kids running around with big smiles having a great time and families are happy because their kids get to enjoy everything for free.”

The entertainment Stage is filled with acts throughout the day. In the past there have been a magician, gymnastic demonstrations, pictures with astronauts, karate demonstrations and musical guests. This year’s lineup guarantees to pack a punch and provide kids with lots of exciting delights.

Every year businesses and non-profits set up booths to provide information for families from health care to community participation opportunities and children’s wares. Concession will be available or you can bring lunch from home!
The community also comes out in full force to enhance the experience. Eagle County’s finest emergency responders bring an ambulance and a fire truck for everyone to interact with. WECMRD , The Towns of Eagle and Gypsum, Vail Valley Medical Center, Mechanical Express all lend a helping hand to make this day possible.

This is a great event that not only provides loads of fun for the kids but it also brings the community together. It is a great opportunity to meet other parents and find out about opportunities for your children. Come out and see old friends and make new ones.
