Shopping from Vail to Edwards!
Want to know the scoop on shopping in the Vail Valley?! There are a lot of different options for you and during the off season its the best time to buy because of all the great sales going on!
Head into the Village for all sorts of great deals - If you're looking for some ski/snowboard apparel, last season gear is on sale at all of the sports stores! Mountain Adventure Center, Vail Sports, The Burton Store, Sports Authority, Pepi's Sports and many others. Vail apparel is also on sale - you'll notice racks of clothing outside on bridge street with great markdowns! If you're not in the market for ski gear - and want some cute winter clothes for everyday - Gorsuch, Golden Bear, Axel's, Blitz, Luca Bruno, Due, Pano, Roxy, Charm School all have fabulous choices that are unique and you won't see anyone else wearing! If you're looking for some winter boots or even just a cute heel - Colorado Footwear and Vail Boot & Shoe have great choices (locals get a discount at Colorado Footwear). Eye pieces has a great selection of designer glasses for every occasion and Kemosabe has the best array of cowboy boots you can find! Other retail stores are Mountain Dog - for any doggie need, to Catch a Cook - for kitchen supplies, Annies - for some beautiful china and décor, and Buffalo Bill's for some comical decorations for your home. Take a quick in-town bus ride into Lionshead and walk around the new Arrabelle square where you can stop into Quicksilver, Patagonia, The North Face store, Avalon, Arriesgado, Vail Sports, and Charlie's T-shirts.
If you venture a little down valley there are some great stores to stop by! Holy Toledo is one the most impressive consignment stores you'll walk into...located in Minturn in the colorful church on main street. Valley Girl Boutique is a relatively new store in Avon with super cute everyday and evening clothing. This is a nice option because you won't break the bank here and the clothes are adorable.
Next stop Edwards! You can walk the Riverwalk and find all sorts of stores - there's Pamela Ferrari with its colorful selection of tops and dresses. Lacy's Top Drawer carries intimates and many favorite designers! This is a perfect spot to find sophisticated clothing! Keep heading west and you'll come to Kid's Cottage & Goldies for the kids - they carry adorable kids clothing, Vail Boot and Shoe, Ptarmigan who has some great winter options and PE 101 has some cute jeans and tops to browse! Blitz is a funky store for girls - the store is color coordinated so head toward the color you like and you're set! There are a handful of other retail stores to check out as well - Baggage Cheque, Renanta's Linens, Eye pieces, Kitchen Collage, Asian Village Antiques, Nomadic Collection, Cos bar, Gore Creek Fly Fisherman, and many more!
