FINDING JOY - BY AMY DOSE, RECEPTION JUNE 17, 5-7PM
"Finding Joy", an exhibit by local artist Amy Dose, will be on display starting June 7th.  Amy lives and paints in Eagle, Colorado. As a graduate of Naropa University in Boulder, Amy is committed to a contemplative painting practice.

In addition to her gallery exhibit, Amy will be instructing a two day workshop on June 24th and 25th titled "Facing the Blank Canvas".  The workshops will explore a variety of tools that can be used over and over again to inspire the beginnings of new paintings and series.

*Please note, Alpine Arts Center will be closed through June 6th to prepare for summer camps and classes. We will reopen on June 7th for an exciting, art filled summer!

I believe this painting brilliant. It has a genuine spirit of the city warped into the landscape. It demands further inspection and captivates
