Snow Shoeing and Skiing the Beav

It was cold a few weeks ago and I decided to skip riding and take a snowshoe…I’m not sure if any of you have been to the Vail Golf Course Nordic Center, but you should go! I rented snowshoes and took off for a hike!  Renting the shoes was only $12! And you can have your choice of walking the trail that is paved or you can explore on your own for no cost at all.  Since this was my first time out this year I paid for a ticket to walk the paved track and was off!  We hiked for the entire trail even though I was pooped half way through.  I decided to keep going for some extra exercise – I was with my friend Kelsie who is a personal trainer – so I couldn’t quit!  We went 6 miles round trip – you can of course go many different...
