You can  join the Turtle Tubing party at the tubing put-in spot or the Turtle Bus can pick you up and drop you off wherever you are staying in the Vail Valley for a small additional cost. History

Turtle Tubing, LLC was founded by two guys who loved to spend time floating the historic Colorado River. With experience tubing in Florida & Arizona, they realized the Western Slope of Colorado needed the excitement, enjoyment, and memories of tubing the Colorado River.

Daily River Floats: $25 Per Person, includes:

$35 Per Person:

  • All the above
  • Round trip transportation on our Signature “Turtle Bus” from Vail Valley

Add Ons:

Things To Bring

  • Knowledge of how to swim
  • Sun Block
  • On River Shoes **NO FLIP FLOPS**
  • Towel
  • Drinking Water
  • A Dry Change of Clothes
  • Personal Coolers are Allowed
  • (Cooler Tubes are available for rent for an additional $10.00)

Check In Information

  • Please arrive at 10:00 AM at Dotsero Exit (#133 of I-170).
  • Round-Trip Transportation is available on the Turtle Bus for an additional $10 from:
  • Vail (By Reservation Only)
  • Avon 9 am (Loaded Joe’s)
  • Edwards 9:15 am  (Woody’s Bar & Grill)
  • Length of float  is 2.5 to 3 hours.

Safety

  • At minimum you must know how to swim
  • Safety Tubers will be present at all times while on the water
  • We are goverened under Special Use Permit by the Bureau of Land Management
  • We meet all insurance requirements and expectations
  • We are CPR and First Aid Certified

 

DON'T FORGET THAT THE TURTLE BUS ALSO PROVIDES TRANSPORTATION, NOT ONLY AROUND THE VALLEY, BUT TO ALL STATE BRIDGE EVENTS.

Thursday, 4th - Yarmony Grass Pre Party
& Burger Night   This will be one heck of a pick and kick off to the Yarmony Grass Music Festival at Rancho Del Rio!  Featuring The Deadly Gentlemen.  $5 Burgers and $2.50 Domestic Beers.
 
Saturday, 6th - Pink Elephant Party
Everyone currently welcomed into the Pink Elephant Army can attest to the insanity of this annual camping party featuring some of the best DJ's in Colorado and a couple of surprises that will blow your mind!

Sunday, 7th - March 4th Marching Band -
Yarmony & Pink Elephant Post Party
Mobile big band spectacular, with saxophones, trombones, trumpets and a drum/percussion corps, anchored by pumping battery-powered electric bass. Stilt-walkers, dancing girls, flag twirlers, clown antics, and acrobatics accompany this eclectic ensemble.
 
Saturday, 13th - Cornmeal
 Heavily influenced by American roots and folk music, Cornmeal blends lightning fast tempos and impeccable harmonies into an unrivaled live performance that continues to expand upon the five-piece acoustic-electric groups’ vast musical repertoire.

Sunday, 14th - Dark Star Orchestra
Dark Star Orchestras shows are built off the extensive catalog of the Grateful Dead. On any given night the band will perform a show based on a set list from the Grateful Dead’s 30 years of extensive touring or use the catalog of original songs and often played covers to create a unique set list for the show. 

Thursday, 18th & Friday, 19th -
Donna the Buffalo - 2 Nights
Donna the Buffalo’s feel-good, groove-oriented, danceable and often socially conscious music all began over twenty years ago with roots in old time fiddle music that evolved into a soulful electric Americana mix infused with elements of cajun/ zydeco, rock, folk, reggae, and country. 
 
Saturday, 20th & Sunday, 21st -
Find Your Way Festival
Find Your Way Festival is now a 2DAY event including performances from Grouch & Eligh (Living Legends Crew), MTHDS, Kinetix, Air Dubai, Frogs Gone Fishin', and LOTS MORE.
 
Saturday, 27th - EOTO, Papadosio & Octopus Nebula
The crew from the amazing CERVANTES Ballroom in denver is throwing a party....come beat the city heat up here on the river.

7 Walkers featuring Billy Kreutzman
Bill Kreutzmann can barely contain his enthusiasm for 7 Walkers, the former Grateful Dead drummer’s new band with guitarist / vocalist Papa Mali, legendary New Orleans bassist George Porter Jr., and multi-instrumentalist Matt Hubbard.
